Welcome to the 1st Cheam Boys’ Brigade and Girls’ Association Website. We are a part of the youth work of Cheam Baptist Church

We meet on Monday evenings in the halls at the rear of Cheam Baptist Church. Click on Sections to find details of where and when we meet.
We operate four sections: the Anchor Section for ages 5-8, the Junior Section for ages 8-11, and the Company Section for ages 11-15 and Senior Section for ages 15-18.

We are a mixed Company working with girls as well as boys. The girls belong to the Girls’ Association, which along with Amicus is part of the Boys’ Brigade family. The girls wear similar uniforms to the boys, but the badge is slightly different.

The spring programme for each section has now been published on the programme page of the website along with the future programme for known activities in the following terms.

January 25th, 2010

Bookings are now open for Summer camp which will be held at Broadleas on Dartmoor (where we camped in 2008) from 14 – 21 August 2010.

All members of the Company and Senior Sections are encouraged to attend. The invitation is also extended to the Year 6 members of our Junior Section who are due to be promoted to the Company Section in May.

The Camp 2010 Letter which provides further details and a booking slip is available for download.

Please book by returning the booking slip at the bottom of the letter with a deposit of £30. Cheques should be made payable to 1st Cheam Boys’ Brigade.

We have booked a campsite for next year’s summer camp for the week 14-21 August 2010. It is the BB West of England and Channel Islands District’s Broadleas Camping and Training Centre at Haytor on Dartmoor, where we camped in 2008.
